Inspired by the county town we call home, Taunton Gin is a celebration of Somerset’s heritage, orchards and craftsmanship. Every bottle is distilled by hand in small batches at Mainline Spirit Co., using traditional methods and carefully selected botanicals to create a classic London Dry Gin with a distinctive local character.
At its heart is a bright backbone of juniper, supported by fresh citrus and delicate floral notes. A subtle touch of crisp Somerset apple pays tribute to the county’s famous orchards, adding a gentle sweetness and freshness without overpowering the traditional gin profile. The result is exceptionally smooth, balanced and refreshing.
Unlike many modern flavoured gins, Taunton Gin contains no artificial flavours, colours or sweeteners. Every bottle is distilled from real botanicals, producing a clean, authentic spirit that showcases quality ingredients rather than added sugar.
The label tells the story of Taunton itself, featuring some of the town’s most recognisable landmarks including the historic Market House, Taunton Castle and the railway that helped shape the town’s development. At its centre stands the Somerset Wyvern, symbolising the county’s proud history and spirit of exploration.
